#2022 personally has been a lot different than quite a lot of years before that for me. It was the year to take life slowly and enjoy every single moment of life. I am glad I was able to do that! #thankyou 2022.
Professionally, it was all about #lifecoaching and helping people realise and achieve their goals.
Having coached more than 50 people 1 on 1 and being able to give a talk on “At the crossroads - a perspective on career transition” at #VMware for 100+ attendees, it has been a fulfilling year of getting to know people and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals.
Few things that I learned as a coach:
Listen to people; they have a lot of stories to share
Silence in between conversations might be awkward; let them break the silence
Don’t be judgemental at the first talk, take time to understand the problem
Help people achieve their goals. Let them be in the limelight and enjoy the success
It’s ok if people don’t turn up on your coaching call or are late, move on!
#gratitude and #thankyou to all those who have supported me through my journey and looking forward to a wonderful 2023 where I look forward to more such talks and goals.
