Who am I?
I am Ramya Rao. I am a Certified Life Coach and an Engineering Leader with over 17 years of Software Industry experience.
My story
I come from a humble family, born and brought up in Bangalore in the 80s-90s. I am one of 3 sisters in my household and come from a fairly conservative setup.
I was always told what to do and what not to do in my life and believed this narrative till I started working. As I was working I also started to become more independent, travelling out of India on business trips and began realising my true potential.
Quality management was my chosen area of expertise and I began my career as a quality engineer. I was very passionate about what I do and quickly rose through the ranks. I also did my MS in Quality Management and was recognised as a quality leader in my company. I won multiple accolades and rose to the highest point as a Quality Management professional.
I was then on the precipice of choosing my next steps, either to grow more in my career or pivot and start something completely new. I chose the latter and here I am in my journey to be a Life Coach and help people similar to me in growing in their career, helping them to decide important life steps, discover goals and more.
